I've been having this problem in the past few weeks too.
Server is LMS 7.9.2 on Centos 7 with an i7 and 1gbps network 2 x Clients SB Boom and SB Radio The problem for me only seems to happen when listening to iPlayer streams, although that is the main thing we use it for so might just be more noticeable. Like the OP, mine will last 5 mins to an hour before it needs starting again. Quite irritating!
