The "right" version of squeezelite will have WMA built-in but not sure
where Local PLayer gets its version of squeezelite - maybe it's not
included in its build.  Try the latest ones from here

AFAICT, nobody has bothered adding WMA to squeezeplay as it's hard and
as squeezelite has far more capabilities already, the effort is not
worth it. I think users have squeezelite running in the
background/service and then run either a Web UI (especiually with new
Material skin) or Jivelite (the Squeezeplay UI no player).
