1. Playlist issues is strange a needs separate investigation as it si a
separate issue.   Have you confirmed that non WMA (say MP3) playlist
play OK with same player ?  Is this localised to this player ?  Does it
happen with "real" player  (I.e. not Web) 

2. AFAICT Fedora is not widely used by LMS with WMA users. Clearly the
PlayWMA plugin with  mplayer does not work with Fedora.   I think
custom-convert.conf with mplayer will have be replaced with
new/different custom-convert.conf  with ffmpeg which may avoid OS/distro
specific stuff.

3. Have you checked whether the LMS supplied Flac works on your system -
a Fedora supplied Flac binary may not have patches required to work
properly with LMS .  Again Fedora may be the issue.

Please decide - if you are moving away from LMS / Fedora - say so - so I
won't waste my time.  I won't do anything until you decide.
