This all looks a bit complex for a simple listener such as myself - I've never heard of a 'convolver' or 'fir'. I'll have to look into these tools. I run everything on linux, so I'll have to play around a bit to get things working for me (nothing quite as simple as fir or rephase seems to exist on linux).
