Yes is that way, but bit depth and format are not important.

Very good, let me know your finding.

Just two tricks: 

1. Always use negative gain in rePhase and 
2. Always add some negative gain in C-3PO (3 or even 6db) and automatic
headroom, that way you're sure to avoid clipping.  

Another thing to try is to enable mix settings (balance), putting 99 or
less in left or right channel volume. Not sure and don't even ask me why
or how, but seems to me fir and eq effects when used together with mix
are more effective.
