If you store your music on a local HDD then I would recomend either the Odroid hc1 if 2.5" drive or the hc2 for 3.5".
These effectively have there own case (the heatsink) which holds the drive. Relatively easy to set up if you use armbian which has an armbian-config program to do the basic linux setting up and will even install Linux to the hard drive.
