Well, looks like I've got it stabilised. Basically purged LMS and re-installed, plus a few other things. artwork.db is now 149mb and stable :o.
So, the question is where to now. I'm keen to pursue iPeng & LMS as a streaming solution when away from home, but don't want things like this to happen again. Is there a safe(r) way to do this? I've looked at installing a VPN server, but I'm a bit hesitant. Firstly, because I've never done anything like that before and a bit concerned about the learning curve. It would have to run on my Ubuntu server as my modem/router doesn't have one built in. But mostly because, as I understand it, all my mobile data (not just ipeng) will get routed through my home server. Are there any other solutions out there? If not could someone possibly point me to a simple guid for setting it up.
