In which case do you really need such a large library? 
The scan time for ~ 1 million tracks is going to be a lot of hours no
matter what you do.
If it were 100,000 tracks it would still represent about a year of
continuous listening but crucially you’d get the scan time down to
perhaps 1 hour.
