I spoke too soon in my last post. When I went into Web Control I found that the checkbox that I had unchecked was again checked! I have found that if I check the box and do a restart, whether manually or upon reboot, the checkbox is being automatically checked. I do not know why LMS is automatically doing this. So I am back to using the Insecure HTTPS setting whether I want it or not.
Are you saying that using "insecure https" would NOT work, while without that option it would? That seems rather surprising, as it's supposed to do the opposite: be more tolerant wrt. certificates etc.
