Yes I had the same issue with 7.9x as well.
Do the Booms have to be connected to msb to function properly? They've now had the MAC addresses removed from msb but I'm still seeing issues where they won't reconnect after the LMS is restarted. Tomorrow I'll try and add them to an account, to see if that fixes things. Ideally they wouldn't need to talk to anything on the 'net to work, though. I can't do too much experimenting though because folks in our house expect the Booms to just work and get annoyed when they don't. One other data point: the Squeeze Radio doesn't seem to have this issue. Just the Booms and Duet Receivers. At this point I've replaced the Duet Receivers with Rpis and Squeezelite which seems to work decently.
