Sorry, I've never tried to do this. I think you need a service that will assign a fixed external IP address to your home router. Something that I see called "Dynamic DNS". But sorry, I have no specifics to provide. Just google, "accessing home network from outside" etc. In the meantime, free pandora works via mysqueezebox.com and can certainly provide some reasonable music playlists.
