Thanks for that. In my research, it is a problem with the version of OSX I'm on. There is apparently some history in that post El Capitan, Apple moved away from OpenSSL. I may have to build a Pi server or something. I hate to do that b/c I have a perfectly good machine here, but can't realize the full benefit. Planned obsolescence on Apple's part. I may be back for more advice.
