So for years I have happily run my old NAS duo with LMS and my random collection of Classic, SB's and radios without any issues apart from sadly seeing some much loved plugins fade away :-( but overall the experience has been superb and people still marvel when I tell them how old this stuff is and its still supported by a gallant band of brothers and sisters. But now I feel I should consider a change - I tried to install LMS 8 without much success and not sure why - just wont start so backtracked to 7.9.4 which is fine, but now thinking I should go Raspberry Pi to just use the Duo as storage, particularly as its only recently been drive updated. Problem is where do I start? Im a bit lost with the overload of information and my Linux knowledge is zero, so could someone point me to the best guide to do this - I feel a bit overloaded with the information that is out there to be honest and dont want to make a silly mistake right at the start! Im pretty sure a move to just use the Duo as a storage device is the correct one (particularly as even with upgraded memory it takes hoursto scan my collection) but correct me if you think Im wrong. Thanks.
