I'm not a MAC person, so can't validate, but the error message you are getting is saying that the LMS process can't connect to the localhost:10002 server. Obviously the server is operational, because as you've mentioned it works from your web browser when you go to it locally with http://localhost:10002/.
So some firewall or security policy is stopping your LMS application from connecting.
