Poetic licence on my part.

I think it may be a lot closer than you think. I have a Pi4 server and
also one running under Linux on an old HP Microserver (AMD Duron with
8gb RAM). The HP is quicker but it’s a very close run thing. If said HP
was running Windows it would not surprise me if the Pi was quicker.

I have installed LMS on various Windows versions in the past as tests
but it is a pain from lots of perspectives. Linux is just simpler and
more stable.

There may come a point when LMS won’t run on Windows because of the Perl
upgrade issue.
