Thanks, that's extremely useful. In that case I will stay with NFS and
check the ability to generate playlists, as you suggested. You may have
saved me a lot of time trying the other option, and a lot of frustration
if I found out later that playlist creation doesn't work.

Maybe some day I'll dive deeper into my NAS. I bought it two years ago,
primarily for LMS, and then never used it for anything else, tbh. Now
it's a pretty luxurious solution, for just serving audiofiles to the LMS
on the picoreplayer.
