I run synology DSM6 and 7 on different NAS devices, and probably about 10 pCP installs running. I run both CIFS and NFS connections. I upgrade my pCP devices constantly through my development cycle, and rebuild from scratch. I never have an issue, as long as the NAS is powered up.
