Buffering would make no difference as chunks are 6 secs long(or maybe 3 can;t rememeber), so the issues "feels" like it is a problem to do last chunk (probably less than 6 secs long), not being noted as being played (somehow end of song is a factor) and so it is being replayed. As it is a factional chunk - it may not happen for every long problem so it'll be hard to test. For completeness - what player ?
