I like to think that I personally am in recovery from that very same
affliction, always prone for a relapse. :). I think that's why I feel
the need to recreate the failure scenario.

Thanks for tip Robb, I'll give it a try. I had also thought of putting
an album of music files in the queue, then syncing all player (currently
8 I think), letting it play through, then restarting LMS. If I had to
guess, something is amiss with the queue, base on some of the behavior I
have seen. I'll give that a try.

Backup system is built, just getting ready to see if I can recreate,
first - the "now playing" abnormalities, second, the current
unrecoverable state
