Jeebers, I've been subscribing to Pandora for about a year and it works fine.
I had a brief scare when Virgin Media removed their proxy servers and it started breaking up on me, but other than that, I have no issues with it at all. If your ISP is Virgin Media / NTL, then you need to quote the IP address of one of their many proxy servers to get it to work.
