Agreed, Ive purchased at least 200 cd's over the last few years as a direct result of discovering new artists and/or rediscovering artists I had forgotten about. I wonder whether there is a significant difference between the buying patterns of communities like Squeezebox users (and owners of lesser audio streaming devices) compared with the mainstream music buying population, which I understand to be characterised by gen-Y who are perhaps less concerned with particular artists/albums and more inclined to consume singles on the run. Irrespective, the world is changing and, like the rest of us, the music industry is going to have to adapt or perish. -- egd Transporter >> SCA2 >> SCM100SLAT via balanced XLR Linux and loving IT! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ egd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3425 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34967 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
