I've tried the latest softsqueeze on a different computer via SSH. It does the same thing. I have also tried this on another client all together and it doesnt the same thing.
I dont have anything unusual that anyone else wouldn't have. The only thing that I did was drop Lame.exe in the below directory: C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread SqueezeCenter detects the lame encoder and uses it. If I take that file out, and restart SqueezeCenter, It still shows "The LAME encoder appears to be installed correctly on your system" I certainly cant be the first person to use the MP3 java plugin or even the LAME encoder which SqueezeCenter detects and uses for all other plugins.
