For the present, the point of the SqueezeNetwork setting on the SBC is
so that you can use it to tell your SqueezeBox (SB, SB2, SB3, SB
Receiver) or Transporter to connect to SN. It shows you what is playing
on the SB, which is especially useful for the SB Receiver (the other
half of the Duet), because the SBC is the only way you get any visual
indication of what's playing. You're not setting it up as a player, but
using it as a controller.

In the future (time unspecified) they will add a feature to the SBC
firmware that will activate the SBC headphone jack, so that it becomes
a portable player. All the hardware is already in place, it just needs
more work on the software.
