No hitting needed or even suggested ;o) I expect you could use it like that, although it's much larger and more expensive (and probably more fragile) than an iPod Shuffle or other flash-based portable players that are available on the market (including mobile phones). Some of the possible uses within home network range are lounging by the backyard pool, out on the patio, in the hammock, when mowing the lawn or gardening, etc. These could be with headphones or with powered speakers. I used to unplug my SB2 from my hifi and drag it outside with powered speakers for evenings on the patio, but an SBC player + powered speakers would be less hassle.
Some people are jazzed about streaming tunes in public wifi hotspots, although the mental image of a few dozen people sitting in a Starbucks all listening to the same tune through their isolating earbuds just strikes me as weird. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49756 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
