Well, if it's not connected to a network, then it's not really streaming. As for SBC's on-board storage, there is a slot under the battery for a Secure Digital memory card. Its main purpose at present is to provide an alternative method for updating the SBC firmware. But conceivably the SBC could be configured to use it as local (to the SBC) music storage. I'm almost certain it's not SDHC compatible, so you're looking at 2GB max.
