Well a minor miracle has occurred - well two actually: firstly the web
UI for Squeezenetwork now seems to work and store favourites without
issue. The second miracle is that my understanding of how this thing
all works has increased to the extent that I now see that there are TWO
favourites, depending on whether your in SqueezeNetwork mode or
SqueezeCenter mode. I'm baffled as to why there has to be two modes in
the first place(?).

Anyway, long story short is that the web thingy now seems to work and
updates my Boom perfectly well. I even woke to Radio New Zealand
National dead on time at 6:30 this morning. Now what I want to do is
get a better handle on this Network/Center configuration stuff. I also
want to make use of the Line-Out, so that I can extend the range of
this to external speakers in the en-suite - great to listen to music,
whilst in the shower! What I want to know now is whether the line-out
can have its own independent volume control ... but I guess that's for
other forum ....

Thanks for your interest and input.
