Squeezenetwork is a special version of the Squeezecenter Software which
is running on Logitech data center servers (different US, EU datacenter
depending on the client locating afaik).

Squeezenetwork do only have a subset of the Squeezecenter
functionallity and is optimized for the Internet connected client. It's
also used for some external services (Rhapsody, Napster, etc.) to
authentify the Squeezebox User afaik.

Squeezecenter is the complete application which do include everything
from Squeezenetwork and MORE. MORE in capital letters because you need
the Squeezecenter to release the full power of the Squeezeboxes.

Exchanging favorites is not so easy because Squeezenetwork cannot
access your local files. Also the reference to other services can be
different due to the different systems and locations. Remember: a
playlist can be a mixture of local and external music sources.
