Yes I agree that's useful info from someone who knows how the mysqueezebox.com My Music option works but it doesn't change the unfortunate fact that some people are finding it impossible to connect a SB receiver to mysqueezebox.com.
I've followed post #4 in this thread and have managed to get the mySB.com Player section to see and report a single receiver that I've renamed to a new recognisable name. It also advises that this reciever always has the status : disconnected. The next thing I did was stop the local SB Server software thinking that the system would perform a transparent switch to mySB.com, but it didn't. Personally I'm using port 9000 for SB Server and did also consider this problem could be firewall related, but I'm not sure if the mySB.com functionality is using the same port number as the SB Server software..I suppose it could be using another port; a bit of guidance from a logitech tech team bod would be useful here. I'm happy to run some local tests and provide further info from trace logs etc if anyone can tell me what logs I need to enable or be looking at. -- UKJoe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ UKJoe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33988 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69910 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
