Not to get into the can of worms that is politics but mr sinatra has certainly thrown out some classic conservative opinions and so it seems necessary to reiterate that his opinion is not the norm and hopefully not the majority opinion amongst americans.
Americans as a whole are swept up in the thinking that America is the only country that matters and therefore we have a media that virtually ignores international news coverage. So with the election of obama i find hope that our very errant and arrogant ways can be changed and redirected into a much broader global perspective.
