Thank you so much for your reply. I connected the Boom and the Radio to SBS and connected to last.fm without a problem.
I was able to continue with last.fm when I switched the Boom to mysqueezebox but it failed when I switched the Radio and then I lost it on the Boom. I tried again, switching to mysqueezebox from the Radio but not yet selecting a channel, then switching the Boom to mysqueezebox and selecting last.fm. It failed on both the Radio and the Boom. I saw the same sort of dialogs as before...last.fm stopped, not connected and saw an array of titles of recently listened to music flying by on the screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled last.fm but still have the problem. It happens only with last.fm, notwith Pandora.
