I have no idea how Pandora works. For the Squeezebox, Last.fm is a normal radio service that should be streaming the same music for everyone, and it tries to synchronize the streams probably by buffering a few seconds.
Last.fm is different. The music that is played is picked at random and individually for each player. This means that two different boxes will receive two different songs. The Squeezeboxes notice that they cannot synchronize the streams and reset the connection. If you use your SBS, there will be only one connection to Last.fm. The Squeezeboxes get their audio streams from your SBS. -- mvordeme 'last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/mvordeme) | scaleo home server 2105 | squeezebox server 7.4.2 - r29756 | server power control 20100101.164543 | squeezebox boom & duet | rotel rsp-1066 | rotel rmb-100 | phonar p-5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mvordeme's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73999 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
