I was not aware that SqueezeBox is so hard to support, and I do not wanted to complain on a personal level; quite the opposite! *Thanks Michael.* However, having bought that product and then reading that the needed infrastructure budget is on a shoestring makes me a bit uneasy. On a more technical level: I kind of sense that there will be no bigger new development which is sad. Now that things do not break any more on a electrical level as in tube radios it's the software that limits the lifetime of appliances. All in the name of profits! Please tell your marketing dept. that I would prefer a colourful indication or an additional help menu to diagnose such outages and connection issues. I'm not colorblind. Red/Yellow/Green are universally understood. Blue is also fine. Regarding moving to a more decentralized system: I thought it should be possible to at least get to the 6 stations that are directly reachable by key in such a way that the central service is not needed.
