in the log i can see that it is doing "something" with WIMP(former name of Tidal), but still i do not have any Apps in the WebUI.
Have you restarted LMS more than once since you enabled the Tidal app? I see that LMS is told not to come back before a week ("Next player check in 604800 seconds"). This should not happen if you have a player. But you can force a check by restarting LMS.
Regarding the cost for sw-players issue: Make a calculation about what a software-player costs you. Add a fair margin and offer a flexible subscription. As long as customers have the feeling to get a vaule add, they are willing to pay, at least i would be.
Unfortunately it's not that easy in a commercial, international environment with many partners involved...
