Why not create a licensing provision in LMS so if the player's MAC doesn't resolve to a Logitech hardware product the player would then need to provide a valid license key. Folks using just the software can pay a one time or annual fee and those that don't want to just don't get to use that service. Players like vortexbox or S1Digital, etc can pay a larger one time fee and build that expense into the cost of their product. Maybe if Logitech made some money LMS could be properly supported again. Everyone else seems to make money from streaming services and so should Logitech but the folks that use software players should be given an avenue to continue using it if they choose.
