Thanks for responding. I thought for sure that lack of a tunein account had to be it. I have no memory of ever signing up for a tunein account but I know local stations have been listed in the past. In fact, a quite a few years ago, I believe you helped me get additional radio streams working on softsqueeze with a plugin you wrote. Anyway, it turns out that I did/do have a tunein account. I recovered my password and logged in. This must have been called something else previously and my account transferred somehow. My location under account settings appears to be set by zipcode and is set correctly. When I look at local stations while logged into the Tunein.com website, there are none listed. I guess this explains why I don't see any local radio stations listed on my squeezebox. Maybe my zipcode is cursed:-)
I live in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex area. Maybe my zipcode is not entered in the tunein database correctly? I guess I can try some other zipcodes in the area and see if they work.
