I tried the api lookup you suggested some time ago and got normal results. When I follow a new artist through Spotify on LMS, the artist appears as followed in my spotify account, but I still see a random subset in my LMS spotify list. Playback and all other functions still perform as expected. Please advise.
Could you please give Spotty a try (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107615)? The official Spotify implementation is going away, soon :-(.
