This was bound to happen one day.

I was able to re-authenticate alright, and I, too, have the 50 artists
problem, but I have confidence that it will be fixed.

The bad thing is the dropped support for MP3. I just checked my players,
and it seems that the Boom does not play the AAC, either, so currently,
only the Radio and the Touch work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my
impression is that even if I throw twice as much money at Tidal, only a
few tracks will be available on the Booms and the Transporter, because
most tracks on Tidal are only available in a lossy format. My LMS is an
old Windows Home Server with spinning HDDs, so to leave it running 24/7
is not an option. I even doubt that it will be able to transcode the
streams in real time.

What are my options? I will need to replace the WHS anyway because of
SMB 2/3 support. I was thinking about a Synology station or something
similar. Is running a NAS 24/7 the way to go, or should I replace
mysqueezebox.com with a Raspberry Pi? Are there hardware restrictions
for transcoding the AAC streams?

Any ideas are appreciated.
