This topic was covered in this thread early on. Philippe provided a patch for LMS8 which allows to transcode AAC to be playable on these players.
What are my options? I will need to replace the WHS anyway because of SMB 2/3 support. I was thinking about a Synology station or something similar. Is running a NAS 24/7 the way to go, or should I replace mysqueezebox.com with a Raspberry Pi? Are there hardware restrictions for transcoding the AAC streams?
