Last problem now is my BOOM. As I read in this thread the LMS8 Server version should be able to stream Tidal AAC-Files to the boom so that it can be played back there.
What revision is your LMS? I'm not sure whether the Synology package really is up to date (it's maintained by a 3rd party).
Is the Boom your only "old" device?
However, the BOOM does not really play the track, it just produces short distorted noises at random. They usually last between 1-2 seconds and then the Boom gets quiet again for a while until the next short distorted noise.
Hmm... that rather sounds like some incompatible transcoding tool. What Synology model do you have? What DSM?
