When I turned on my SB this morning and fired up TIDAL, I got the error
message.

Are you trying to play tracks queued up already, or did you pick some random content from TIDAL? They sometimes do change track IDs, it can happen. Thus potentially rendering playlist entries invalid. Please try some track you've never played before.
