If a user just wants to change compression for a specific player and send Flac across network then it may be possible (haven't tested) to have a "flc-flc" rule for older SB player in custom-convert.conf There is already a "flc flc transcode * " in convert.conf for resampling
Saw this, too. And I was wondering what it actually did... I'm not too familiar with the transcoding framework to understand where it's being used. I had the impression that I only found places where these "transcode" rules were filtered out.
