Hi there, It always funny to see that despite the fact that you add all the needed configuration files ... nobody read them ... and ask for help. I'm the packager for squid and squidGuard for Mandrake Linux and I've added all the samples files. All you need is to copy them in the right place and then adjust the IP values to your configuration. I have even added sample configuration files for all the authentication types (even smb.conf) see for yourself ... maybe I should explain that in the description of the package ... hmm [florin@penguin florin]# rpm -ql squidGuard|grep sample /etc/squid/squidGuard.conf.sample /usr/share/squidGuard-1.2.0/samples/sample.conf /usr/share/squidGuard-1.2.0/samples/squidGuard-simple.cgi /usr/share/squidGuard-1.2.0/samples/squidGuard.cgi [florin@penguin florin]# rpm -ql squid|grep conf ... /usr/share/doc/squid-2.4.STABLE3/smb.conf /usr/share/doc/squid-2.4.STABLE3/squid.conf.authenticate /usr/share/doc/squid-2.4.STABLE3/squid.conf.transparent cheers, -- Florin http://www.mandrakesoft.com
