�OUR WORLD OF WONDERS� An entertaining afternoon program introducing kids & teens to our wonderful world of art and culture
Rebecca Stees, Talented Director of �Art Yowza�, Alameda�s newest creative summer camp, delights our imagination on being �Really Rosy�.
Wednesday Afternoon, May 26st �Rosy Cheeks�, a color mixing tea party. 3:30-4:30 ages 4-8 Do you want to come to our color mixing tea party? We will paint big pictures of ourselves and add funny pink cheeks. What else is pink? We might add pink poodles, pink hearts, and red fire engines.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - �Rosy Future�, a design your world activity. 4:30-5:30, ages 9-11 Do you want to be the master of your universe? What if you invented your own country and wrote all the rules? Get ready to design your world including your state motto, food and holidays. We'll work on large poster board so you can go all out.
------------------ �Rose Colored Glasses vs Gray Lockers�, fun with attitudes. 5:30-6:30 ages 12 & up Do you love to draw? We'll draw two comics side by side with ATTITUDE. You know how some days you're in a different mood? In your drawings, the scenes will the same but the mood will be affected by looking through "rose-colored glasses" and/or a dense fog. Think about opposites. What you draw might be funny, tragic or random.
Admission Free - Donations Appreciated Children must be accompanied by an adult.
