Browser? php 4.2.1, apache 1.3.26, sun solaris platform. IE and netscape both have same troubles. The more people I hear from the more the problem is that 'ALL' user settings in the pref files are missing and appear to be at the default ex: my personal options are now blank. WHat should the permissions be on the data directory. I have included a sample users below. Although the .pref permissions are the same as sm 1.2.6 I thought I would change them to 660 and see if this helps. What I found was the date stamp changed but the permissions were set back to 600. Does any of this help? As mentioned above it looks like all users settings have been replaced by the system defaults.
