Greetings:

Jonathon:

For all the information I have given you about the pref not being seen but
defaulting to the default pref. I thought I would try something else as a
final test for today. I set the php.ini register_globals back to the
insecure mode of 'on'. With this oldish sm 1.2.6 style setting I can now
make changes to any options and they stay.

Does this add any more information to my troubles.

I set register_globals to off (more secure )when I changed from sm 1.2.6
to sm 1.2.10 as that is what I think is being stated we should do now.
