Yes, I have access to the squirrelmail directory.  They said that I can
install a newer version if I want to, but I have to purchase telnet access
to do that.  They said I can't do it via FTP.

The reason they still have 1.2.5 is that they have it integrated with the
admin's control panel, and according to them, a newer version of
squirrelmail wouldn't work.

And yes, until this Monday, I was able to make any preference changes with
no problem.  Now, suddenly, none of them will stick.

I'll ask them if they've made any changes to their php.
