Hello and thanks for the answer =)

I _allways_ reply new message above the original one and after example 10
replys will oldest message lines look like :

****************<SNIP>****************
>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc
>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc

>>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc
>>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc

>>>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc
>>>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc
>>>>>>>>>> foofoo foofoo foofoo barbar barbar foofoo foofoo etc
****************</SNIP>****************

If you look this message it is not so difficult to read it because new
message is replyed above the older one. I have used this type several years
in my job where i send 50-150 emails/day. If i have to take examples and
copy&paste it to new message i dont have to use sed to edit text, i just can
paste the copyed text to new message and send it - same with forwarded
ones...

If someone could find a plugin, hack or somekind of solution for this i
would appreciate it much =) Im not a guru with php =(

(reply-indent-string)

Hi !

I have asked this before but got zero answers =(

But that might be because nobody knew the answer or didn't
think it was a good idea.

Is it possible with squirrelmail to not indent the original
text with ">" at the beginning of each row when replying or
forwarding a mail... I want that to turned off. The feature
is configured example in PINE from setup with
"reply-indent-string":

'reply-indent-string = <Empty Value>'

Sure this is possible, but you probably need to look at the
source code to find out how to do it. I wonder why you don't
want to prefix quoted material though. As you can see, it's
rather difficult to determine what was quoted and what was new
when you don't prefix.

Is there a somekind of feature or plugin that i havent found?

Not that I've seen. It would be nice though, as some people
may wish to have a different string to prepend each line of a
quoted message.

Im using squirrelmail 1.2.11 with MySQL (os: Redhat 7.3) .

PS: Sorry, but I just couldn't resist being an ass :)
