Have downloaded the latest CVS
squirrelmail-20030401_0843-CVS.stable.tar.gz

Can I just upload and over write the /functions and /src dirs from the
CVS to update my stable version?

I Ask cause everything else looks the same...

Try upgrading to the latest CVS version of the branch you have
installed. I believe I fixed this particular 'error'.
