Hi all -

This isn't strictly SquirrelMail related, but I figure the users of this
list would be the most familiar with setting this up, and I need a sanity
check.

I've been using SquirrelMail for a little over a year now. I haven't had
any problems, but I've got a fairly simple setup: one domain with only a
couple of users. Now a couple of Non-profit organizations that I belong
to have asked me to get them on the 'net. I figure a good way to do this
(as far as email is concerned) will be to use SM and virtual users.

Currently my setup is as follows:
RedHat Linux 7.3
Apache 1.3.27
SquirrelMail 1.4.2-1
PHP 4.1.2
UW Imap 2001a-10
Sendmail 8.11.6

I also have OpenLDAP available (though I haven't configured it yet) as
well as MySQL.

>From the reading that I have done so far, I'm thinking that the UW Imap
won't support the virtual users very well, so I'll probably want to
replace that with the Cyrus IMAP server. I'm also thinking I'll probably
end up having to configure LDAP for user authentication (yuck. Anybody
got some simple config files/schemas they could share?). And for
SquirrelMail itself I'll need the Virtual Host Login plugin.

Anything else I should be looking at?
