Enable the info plugin and run the tests under Options so that we can see what the Oracle Collab. Suite IMAP server supports and what it doesn't. If it supports server side sorting you should definitely turn that on. Also, try disabling the filters plugin or removing all existing filters as this plugin causes major slowdowns. Change "Default Unseen Notify" and "Default Unseen Type" settings" (./conf.pl, Option 3. Folders then Options 14, 15). This setting is also overridden by each users pref under Options, Folder Prefs. These settings determine how deep into each folder squirrelmail has to dig.
